Megan Beardmore, MA
Psychology Extern

I am a third year Ph.D. student in the School Psychology program at The University of Arizona. My ultimate goal as a practitioner is to support children in achieving their full potential by recognizing and developing their inherent strengths. I have experience and a keen interest in mindfulness/meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, and social skills interventions for school-aged children. I am especially strong at implementing naturalistic teaching and helping children generalize skills. I am well-trained in conducting school-based academic and achievement testing as well as behavioral assessments. My research interests are centered around nutrition as it impacts the behavior of children.
