Emily Fenton, LCSW

Child & Family Clinician

I offer a safe, judgement-free space, to help ease any worries surrounding beginning a new journey together. I am a creative and passionate therapist, dedicated to helping youth and their families reset and heal by providing emotional support and encouragement during significant times of stress.  My goals are to help children and teens explore and advocate their needs safely. I utilize animal-assisted therapy interventions, strength-based and talk therapy approaches including cognitive behavioral modalities, expressive arts, feelings identification, play-based interventions and more, while always staying focused on my client’s needs and promoting positive growth.

I am also an independent Love and Logic (L&L) trainer. I assist parents/guardians with identifying strengths within their parenting skills, while exploring and enhancing areas in need of support, including difficulty setting limits, boundaries and structure. The L&L philosophy encourages guiding and dignifying children with behavioral techniques to improve relationships, communication and overall family enjoyment.
