Journey Stick in a Nutshell:
Gabe the Guide offers participants insight into the journey stick activity before participants select their own walking stick to turn into their own unique journey stick. This walk allows children to pick up whatever captures their interest and focuses their attention on being truly present— looking, hearing and feeling what’s around them. At the end of the walk, participants gather once again and share their completed journey stick with the group.
Materials will be provided to each participant including a walking stick, ropes and rubber bands. Participants get to take their journey stick home with them after the program.
Saturday, August 6, 2022 @ 9am-11am

Age Range: 8-12*
Location: Middle Bear, Mt. Lemmon
*If your child is older or younger than 8-12, but this seems like the correct age group developmentally for your child, please feel free to contact us to discuss.
