Parents’ Heart-to-Heart – Your Inattentive & Restless Child: A Discussion on ADHD and Anxiety
You ask your child to get ready for school NOW so that you can get out the door on time, and 15 minutes later you find your child on their bed playing video games, knee-deep in social media, or even lost in a book. Attempts to engage your child in moving toward the door result in tears and an endless list of complaints. After school your child seems totally unable to listen or follow through with your requests without falling apart. Now it’s homework time, and despite your best efforts to stay calm, homework sessions result in meltdowns.
Does your child have ADHD?? Is it actually Anxiety? Could it be both? Would you like to know more about: what the behavioral signs indicate, when you should consider therapy, and what this could offer you and your child, and when you should consider medication?
Please join us on August 21st at 7:00 p.m. for our next Parents’ Heart-to-Heart – Your Inattentive & Restless Child: A Discussion on ADHD & Anxiety.
