Dr. Baker believes that her life’s work is to ensure that young people and their families have access to high quality services and programs that support a healthy and joyful lifestyle. In her director role, Dr. Baker is privileged to oversee strategic planning and agency operations, offer outreach to professionals and community members, and support Intuition Wellness Center’s team.

In her role as a practitioner, Dr. Baker believes deeply in the importance of continued learning and self improvement and takes a transparent, strength-based, person-centered approach to her therapeutic work. Dr. Baker has particular interest in the use of play-based therapeutic modalities, the concepts of growth mindset and grit and supporting parents and teachers. Dr. Baker is often drawn to those labeled “shy” or “resistant to therapy” as well as bright and gifted individuals.
