Brandy Baker, Psy.D. (she/her)

Executive & Clinical Director, Clinical Psychologist

“I accept you. YOU and your quirks, oddities, strangeness, talents, gifts, passions and abilities. Your turn.” ~ Dr. Brandy Baker

Hello there! I’m Dr. Baker, but you can call me “Brandy. I believe my life’s work is to help ensure that young people and their families have access to high-quality services and programs that support a healthy and joyful life. As Executive & Clinical Director of Intuition Wellness Center, I’m privileged to oversee strategic planning and agency operations, offer outreach to professionals and community members, and support the Intuition Wellness team in providing thoughtful, compassionate care.

In my role as a practitioner, I take a transparent, strength-based, person-centered, and neuro-affirming approach to my work. I believe deeply in the importance of continued learning. I’m particularly interested in play- and somatic-based therapeutic approaches. I’m trained in SPACE (Supportive Parenting of Anxious Childhood Emotions) and have completed foundational coursework and years of ongoing consultation in SMART (Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment).

I especially enjoy working collaboratively with parents, teachers, colleagues, and other professionals to build stronger support systems where young people can thrive. I lead with empathy and curiosity rather than judgment; there’s no shaming or blaming here, just a willingness to better understand each family’s experiences and work together to find a path forward. I’m passionate about helping create the “village” families deserve and addressing the systemic barriers that can leave families feeling unheard or unsupported.

I’m often drawn to kids and young adults who feel like they don’t quite fit—those who may be sensitive, quirky, bright, or hard on themselves. Some struggle with perfectionism, identity development, or underachievement despite clear potential; others feel “too much” or not “enough.” I love helping young people recognize their strengths, celebrate who they truly are, and discover new ways to navigate challenges.
