INSURANCE PLANS ACCEPTED BY PANELED PROVIDERS

  • Aetna: Commercial Health, Medical Rental Network, Worker’s Compensation Network, and Auto Network.
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield: Indemnity, PPO, HMO (non-employer plans), Medicare Supplement-Senior Preferred, and Workers’ Compensation.
  • Other/Out of Network Benefits: You may request a “Superbill” to submit to insurance for reimbursement if your provider is not paneled with your insurance.

How payment works

Intuition Wellness Center is primarily self-pay. Some counseling providers are paneled with Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield; call 520-333-3320 to confirm which. Psychological testing and psychiatry are self-pay, and we provide a superbill on request so you can seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurer. Sessions with supervised trainees are offered at a reduced rate. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and HSA cards.

Psychological testing and assessment

Testing is billed by the hour for each stage, so the total depends on the evaluation. We discuss the plan and expected cost at the diagnostic intake.

*The diagnostic intake fee is due on the day of service. A deposit for psychological testing fees, as determined by the clinician, is due on the date the testing assessment begins. The remaining balance is due when results and the final report are received.

Other fees

  • Returned check: $25.
  • Records request, hard copy: $10 plus postage. Electronic records: no charge.
  • The following vary and require client notification before billing: completion of documents such as treatment summary letters; consultation and case management such as attending IEP meetings or coordinating care; subpoenas and court orders, including requests to testify; and off-site travel time.

Cancellation policy

Missed appointments without 24-hour notice are charged the full service fee. Clients are responsible for full payment even if they arrive late.
